Owenkillew Community Development Association was set up in 1974, by a forward-thinking group of local people who wanted to build a positive future for all in the area.
Gortin Outdoor Activity Centre was set up in 2000 as a social enterprise, with all proceeds reinvested back into the community. A unique sustainable approach to provide services, enhance tourism, community and environment in Gortin and surrounding areas, for the benefit of local residents and visitors alike.
Created to promote tourism within the Sperrins, we provide holiday homes, hostel accommodation and activities for visiting groups, families and individuals as well as deliver local services in a modern spacious community hub.
